  I was absorbed into the American Riviera Bank, not willingly or happily. I do like to patronize local businesses, but both Bank of Santa Barbara and before Union Bank (which I REALLY don't like) swallowed it up, Santa Barbara Bank & Trust.
  
  I think they do their customers a real disservice by closing at 5:00 AND have NO weekend hours at all, not even the drive up in Goleta.
  
  Finally, service seems to have diminished, not been enhanced by this merger.
